Abu Dhabi - The concert "Verdi Requiem" will take place on April 21 at 6 p.m. at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi under the auspices of the Italian Cultural Institute of Abu Dhabi/Embassy of Italy in the UAE, and organized by Dubai Singers & Orchestra. Ninety singers, accompanied by a sixty-piece orchestra, will thrill the audience with the performance of Requiem, the choral operatic work by Giuseppe Verdi. With a quartet of professional soloists exclusively from the United Kingdom, Requiem takes on an almost operatic form, unlike any other choral work. (9colonne)
