Cape Town – On the occasion of the 2024 Giornata del Contemporaneo (Contemporary Art Day), promoted by Amaci – the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums – and organized with the support of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria presents a conversation with Laura Vincenti, the director of the prestigious Investec Cape Town Art Fair, representing Fiera Milano. The conversation provides an overview of key issues in the contemporary art market and explores the theme of accessibility, the central focus of this year’s Giornata del Contemporaneo, which will be celebrated worldwide on October 12th.
