The third episode of Linea Azzurri, the program created by Angelo Maietta dedicated to Italian sports champions, is set to air on Saturday, March 8, at 4:30 PM (New York time) on Rai Italia. The following day, it will be available on the RaiPlay platform.
Each 40-minute episode offers an exclusive journey through memory and territory, featuring in-depth interviews that reveal the symbolic places of athletes' childhoods and the flavors that shaped their early years, leading to their greatest achievements. The show thus becomes a tribute to the champions' roots, turning them into true ambassadors of their homeland.
This episode takes place in Sturno, in the province of Avellino, where Angela Tuccia will meet Silvana Stanco, a shooting champion who, through dedication and sacrifice, has transformed her passion for the sport into an extraordinary career, culminating in a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Her success is not only the result of years of intense training but also a testament to her deep bond with her homeland and her family, who have always supported her throughout her journey.
Additionally, alongside journalist Lucia Petraroli, Angela Tuccia will explore the theme of sustainability in sports and its impact on local communities, a key focus of this episode.
