Group participation of Italian companies at Exponor in Chile

ICE – the Italian Trade Agency – in collaboration with the trade associations Unacea and Anima Confindustria Meccanica Varia, together with Aisem and UCoMESA, is organising a collective Italian participation at the "Exponor 2026" trade fair, which will take place in Antofagasta, Chile, from 8 to 11 June. This initiative forms part of the promotional activities supporting companies operating in the supply chain of construction, roadworks and mining technologies, machinery and equipment. Chile, thanks to its abundant natural resources (accounting for around a quarter of global copper and lithium production, along with significant quantities of molybdenum, gold, silver, lead, zinc and iron), represents a highly attractive destination for investors in the mining sector. Exponor, which is held biennially and attracts approximately 50,000 visitors from over 30 countries, offers an excellent opportunity for Italian industry leaders to present not only industrial components but also innovative and sustainable solutions to the local market – such as energy-efficient machinery, advanced excavation technologies, and seawater desalination systems. For the 2026 edition, ICE aims to strengthen the Italian presence in Chile by creating an "Italy Pavilion" to host 12–14 companies within an exhibition area of approximately 90 square metres.
