Pianist Andrea Molteni will perform tomorrow, 1 August at 6:30 p.m., at the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana. The solo piano concert will span over a century of music history, from the Baroque to the Romantic 19th century and into the 20th century, offering a rich auditory experience of styles, emotions and musical languages. The concert will open with one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s most famous works—Concerto nach Italienischem Gusto, BWV 971—followed by Sonata Op. 53 “Waldstein” by Ludwig van Beethoven, Toccata by Goffredo Petrassi, and Sonata Op. 11 by Robert Schumann. The programme will conclude with Grosse Concert-Fantasie on “La Sonnambula” by Bellini, S.393 III, by Franz Liszt.
