Hamburg – Sicilian author Claudia Lanteri will be a guest at Hamburg’s Long Night of Literature to present her novel “The Island and Time” at the Lichtwarksaal of the Carl-Toepfer-Stiftung on Saturday 6 September 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The event, organised by Literaturhaus Hamburg in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Hamburg, will be moderated and translated into German by Christine Gräbe, with readings by Paul Behren. Acclaimed in Italy as a literary revelation, the book explores the shifting boundary between memory and truth, set on an island between Sicily and Tunisia.
