Frankfurt – The Italian Cultural Institute in Cologne is collaborating with the Deutsches Filminstitut Filmmuseum in Frankfurt for the eleventh edition of the Terza Visione Festival, scheduled from August 20 to 24, 2025, at the DFF.
Dedicated to Italian popular cinema from the post-war period to the 1980s, the festival presents a selection of genre films screened in 35mm, sourced from major European film archives. The initiative aims to highlight a key sector of Italian film production, offering a glimpse into its many artistic and cultural facets.
The festival’s closing day will focus on international genre cinema, emphasizing the mutual influences between Italy and the rest of Europe.
