Athens – Italy’s Ambassador to Greece, Paolo Cuculi, met with the Greek Minister of Rural Development and Food, Konstantinos Tsiaras, to discuss cooperation between the two countries within the framework of EU policies supporting the agricultural sector. Both sides reaffirmed the excellent level of bilateral partnership and their shared priorities, with particular attention to the protection of producers, crops, and national geographical indications. The meeting also addressed the common challenges facing agriculture, particularly the threats posed by climate change, such as droughts and wildfires.
