Tokyo – On Tuesday, September 9, the Italian violinist Francesco D’Orazio will perform at the Niigata Performing Arts Center – Ryutopia. His recital will guide the audience through nearly three centuries of violin music, ranging from the masterpieces of Bach and Tartini to the dazzling virtuosity of Paganini, and culminating with a tribute to Luciano Berio on the centenary of his birth.
The event is co-organized by the Niigata Italy-Japan Association and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo, with the support of the Embassy of Italy, the Niigata-ken Board of Education, and the Niigata-shi Board of Education.
