Stockholm – On Thursday, September 11 at 5:30 p.m., the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm will host the finissage of the Cameraitalia photography project, along with the exhibitions Hypersea and Paths to the Future.

The evening opens with a welcome cocktail, followed by remarks from Institute Director Francesco Di Lella and curator Ilaria Campioli. A special guided tour will then be led by the six photographers of Paths to the Future—Marina Caneve, Iacopo Pasqui, Vaste Programme, Giulia Parlato, Giulia Mangione, and Benedetta Casagrande—who will share the ideas and creative processes behind their works. Artist Francesco Levy, selected for a residency at the Landskrona Foto Festival, will also be present.

The evening will conclude at 7:00 p.m. with a jazz concert by double bassist Ilaria Capalbo and saxophonist Fredrik Nordström, featuring a repertoire ranging from Antonín Dvořák to David Bowie to Olle Adolphson. Organized in collaboration with Centrum För Fotografi and the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, the initiative is the closing event of a day of dialogue between Italian and Swedish photographers and curators on the state of contemporary photography, part of the Institute’s commitment to promoting Italian creativity in Sweden’s cultural scene.
