Kassala - In recent days, a new computer lab for the Academy of Health Professions in Kassala, in eastern Sudan, was delivered under the health program funded by the Italian Cooperation Agency and the European Union. Thanks to Italian and EU funds, at the end of Ramadan students will return to the lab and will be able to use a classroom equipped with 15 new computers, 3 projectors and a virtual library. The project is part of the activities in support of the Academy provided by the European program to promote health services in Eastern Sudan, in Kassala, Gedaref and Red Sea. The Italian Cooperation Agency is supporting the Academy of Health Sciences and the Continuous Professional Development Institute through the European program, but also with independent initiatives to support the primary health care system. The aim is to improve the delivery of essential services in the field of maternal and child care. (9Colonne)
