Tel Aviv - Following a ceremony in Larnaca, Cyprus, where a state-of-the-art scanner was officially handed over to Cypriot authorities as part of the "Food for Gaza" humanitarian initiative, a delegation from the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency (Adm) has continued their mission in Israel. The delegation, comprising Director of International Relations Andrea Mazzella, Director of Administration and Finance Roberto Chiara, along with anti-fraud officers and customs cooperation experts, is scheduled to visit the access points to the Gaza Strip. These checkpoints are critical for the transit of trucks carrying international aid for the civilian population. The delegation will participate in a series of working meetings with their Israeli counterparts, led by the head of Israeli customs, Kfir Hen. (9colonne)
