Copenhagen - Emilio Buttaro reflects on his four decades of journalism and his interviews with entertainment and sports giants. On September 6 at 5:30 PM, Comites Denmark, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Denmark, will host a free-entry event at the Italian Institute of Culture with the journalist, titled "Special Encounters in 40 Years of the Bel Paese." A contributor to numerous Italian and international newspapers and a host of international events, he has long been dedicated to serving Italians abroad both as a reporter and a presenter. Speaking about his work, he says: “I believe journalism should be a service, helping people understand events through simple and direct language.” Among the notable figures he has interviewed are Pelé, Maradona, Ronaldo, Michael Schumacher, Andrea Bocelli, Adriano Celentano, Oscar winners Roberto Benigni, Giuseppe Tornatore, Paolo Sorrentino, Gabriele Salvatores, and immortal icons such as Mike Bongiorno, Lucio Dalla, Luciano Pavarotti, Dario Fo, and Raffaella Carrà. In 2023, he received the "AIAE New York Journalism Award" at the Italian Consulate in New York for his commitment to Italians abroad. (9colonne)
